Darren Stroh (Senior Pastor)

Darren was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado (but has never really been a Buff's fan for those who may be concerned). He graduated from Colorado Christian University and has two Master's Degrees, one in Life Span Care and Administration from Nova Southeastern University and one in Ministry from Moody Bible Institute.

Darren has been married to Monique for almost 20 years and has 6 wonderful children. He has been involved in counseling ministries and in pastoral ministry for over 15 years.

Jason Franklin (Associate Pastor)

Pastor Jason joined us from California (the land of fruits and nuts as he puts it). He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts Ministry from California Baptist University and his Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Biola University. He has been in church ministry for thirteen years serving in various capacities from Worship Minister to Senior Pastor and has recently been called as our Associate Pastor.

Jason and his wife, Jenn, have been married for twelve years and have five children (four girls and one boy).

Debbie Barlovic (Children's Ministry Coordinator)

Debbie has been directing the children's ministry here at the First Baptist Church for about 16 years. Debbie is in charge of the Kid-Mo kids club and organizes many other activities for the children in the church. She is very active in organizing the children's Sunday school programs. Debbie also organizes the summer VBS program. She lives in Holdrege with her husband, Hank.

Carolyn Klassen (Secretary)

Carolyn has served as the church secretary since 1974. Carolyn designs and sends out the church newsletters and puts together the church bulletins along with many other responsibilities too numerous to mention. Carolyn lives in Holdrege with her husband Marv.

Eileen Hanson (Bookkeeper)

Eileen Hanson has served as the church bookkeeper since 2003. She is very active in the American Baptist Women and ladies circles and serves as the Sunday school secretary. Eileen also volunteers in many other areas of the church. She lives in Holdrege with her husband, Marv.
