What We Believe

• We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God and is the only guide to faith and practice.
• We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. His virgin birth and sinless life.
• We believe that Christ died for our sin, was buried in the grave and rose from the dead.
• We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ.
• We believe that salvation and eternal life are by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

The purpose of the First Baptist Church is to reflect God's unconditional love by:

• Transforming lives through the Holy Spirit.
• Exalting God through worship.
• Affirming the Family of God.
• Mentoring to Christlike maturity.

Our vision is that the First Baptist Church of Holdrege is to become:

• "A strong and courageous church" Joshua 1:9
• "A church on the move, entering the promised land" Joshua 1

Our Affiliation

We are people from every walk of life who have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and who by His faith live for Him. Our church is in fellowship with the American Baptist Churches of Nebraska, and the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A.
